The next time we hear from Cory I suspect it will be to announce a closing of the servers. I'm not particularly holding my breath for that.
Of course, given the level of communication we may not even get that much. Just a closing without a word. -

Over 5 months since Cory was forced out of hiding. He has not been seen since. Heck, he only said something because Nerojinous went to him at their offices.

I'm betting on the latter. Cory could have talked to us to keep interest going. Since there is at least one non-Crypto employee who insists set 10 is done except for art, Cory could have leaked some keywords or lore to help create some interest. But no, all we get is irrelant to reality copy pasta.

Might be too optimistic though. Not sure there's much hope left for Hex. -
Imagine squandering years of engineering time successfully creating Magic 2.0 and then completely failing on every possible level.
I literally can't imagine snatching defeat from the jaws of victory like that. -

First off, we’d like to remind everyone that the HEX Primal Immortal Championship is this Sunday. Be sure to get those tickets! You can visit hexprimal.com for the latest information regarding this event.
However - for some reason there may have a glitch with two tournaments schedulers and neither firing.
Will it be rescheduled? What is the plan for the 12/16 immortal championship that didn’t fire? -
Rescheduling is planned for around the same time when set 10 releases and they pay out the outstanding prize money.

I think even mentioning the tournament is a waste of effort. I would just continue as if this Immortal Championship has never happened and go with the Eternal Copypasta. Like really, WGAF? If I have already pissed off 99% of players, trying to give more effort for the remaining 1% isn't worth it.

This has changed from simply being upset and unhappy with the games status to me actively shunning products from the parent company at large and sharing information of the colossal fuck up that is Cory. It could've been restricted to just Hex but the fact that someone so wildly incompetent is allowed to continue to have a relationship with any other game, let alone a game company, is unacceptable given this pattern of behavior. The good will has gone sour and if it's within my ability nobody I know is going to continue to touch any product you've touched, hope you've got a convincing pen name asshole.
