Ehhh i think the merry melee mode isnt gonna be too good.
Turn 1 walking calamity is nearly auto gg, you take 10 damage t1 and if u kill it thats pretty much lethal.
Additionally there is already a huge issue - the person going first has a huge advantage. The player going second is always playing from behind and there is nothing given to them when going second. Drawing 1 doesn't help because you can only play 1 card a turn in this mode.
If it's 1 per turn, then quick spells can help give you an opportunity to even the field as second player. They can T1 walking calamity, but you can play removal or a quick spell of your own. Eternal Guardian seems good.

Super a worse merry melee mode than 4play way to go guys. I guess it does mean that atleast one person is still coding for the game or maybe they just had this in their back pocket and finally decided to whip it out. Either way (sigh) meh.
