What deck you using for FRA

There are PLENTY of budget decks that can do VERY well... take my above deck for example... substitute the expensive cards and you still got a nice combo.

You can also do war machinist + gambit + scour the archives + briny ray as a starting point for another gambit deck.
      At that time:
      - briny ray is 6449 gold or 30 platinum
      - War machinist is 8000 gold or 30 platinum
      - Scour the archives is 149000gold or 315 platinum
      - Gambit is 520 platinum (unavailable with gold)
So 4 of each at least 3500 platinum

I have had good success with the cartomancy deck. super easy and fast
      - Cartomancy is not even available in AH.

So please those suggestions are not budget decks.
    • Kelvyn, you can do a decent (if terribly boring) FRA deck with 1x Replicator's Gambit, 1x War Machinist, and all the rest ices and blue/red shards. 550 plat isn't bad for a deck that can clear FRA, if not perfect it every time.

      Enjoy :D
I've done 4 runs (3 perfect) with my slightly modified decklist and I have lost 2 games in total (both to retarded AI starts which almost no deck would have beaten) and beaten elite Hogarth twice fairly easily (albeit with Acorns both times). The deck is rather unassuming to look at and the Replicator combo appears quite cute but it's a total beast that tears up FRA...everything just works together so well. Anyone that has a playset of Annihilix and equip that's looking for a solid FRA deck I can thoroughly recommend this one....it has all the tools required (except a board wipe perhaps, hello Sunlit Sentence?) to clear easily.

Hats off to you @HAVOC, once again, thanks for sharing :)

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms perchance?
Yep - i should get back to that one. Also played Castle Clickers until newgame+ where it started to fall off and Dragon Cliff, which has the best strategy / Hero equipment system i have seen. Still playing Dragon Cliff.

    • I'm playing Havoc's Cloud Gambit deck now. It's a fun deck that feels strong but probably just a little below the established power decks. It's somewhat interactive which is cool and refreshing.

I've taken out Thunderfield Seer, Assimilate and Iljun's Parade. Seer seems reasonable but it feels a little unnecessary. Assimilate seems like a pretty weak card overall to me and I'm not sure why it's in this deck. Iljun's Parade is mostly a winmore card in this deck. It's too slow to be defensive against aggro opponents and the difference between 7 2/2 flyers or 7 4/4 flyers is usually 1 turn at most.

I've replaced them with Spirit of Retribution, Scour The Archives and Transmogrifade. Spirit is the best troop defense you can have in FRA in diamond, period. Never dead in your hand and the lifedrain helps a lot. Scour is just a backup to enable the combo more consistently. Has been working well for me. Transmogrifade is good, but I could entertain other cards in this slot as well.

I'm extremely content with Annihilix and Outrider as removal+strong body's. An unleashed Outrider can quickly finish by itself and is truly a backup wincon card. Annihilix with lifedrain just buys enough time to keep going. Elijah bringing back cost-reduced Annihilii is also pretty sweet. (Chumpblocking a large threat with one and then next turn killing it after you've reanimated it is excellent strategy in establishing board control.)

This deck can be pretty fast but it usually isn't so it's not a farm deck but certainly one of the more enjoyable non-linear FRA decks i've played so far.

My main reason for including assimilate was cause I wanted to find something to use for helmet slot and that seemed good enough (I can't not use all equipment slots... ocd >_<)

Heheh, I get that. But what were you using for feet then? With Spirit both feet and head slots are neatly filled.

    • I would disagree, with the modifications I have made and since adjusted the deck has turned into quite the farming deck. I have done 8 runs now and 5 have been perfect and the only losses have been to the usual unbeatable IA retardedness that most decks without the optimal opening hand would lose too. I've recently swapped Transmogrifades to Runebinds and am now 100% happy with the deck and the way it performs. I'm not too sure why you would remove Parades as this is inherent to the decks success imo and makes for consistent 4th/5th turn wins. I've beaten elite Hogarth quite easily twice now and can't think of any fight other than elite Myrym that has been a struggle. I guess it comes down to playstyle/preference though, but it's a great deck :)
    • The only one I've really struggled against is Botanist, since replica's are apparently artifacts.

I've not had any success with Parades at all. They seemed to be mediocre without the combo and winmore with the combo. Runebind seems like a decent replacement for Transmo, I'll try that.

I'm not sure how you win consistently on turn 4 or 5. Can you elaborate on that?

    • I'm having a blast with my Sticky Gargoyles deck, most of the time it clears the Arena, with a few perfect runs, and it's not even very expensive. It's based around Targoyle (common Arena reward) and its 2 equipments (Tar Trotters and Tar Gauntlets, also Arena rewards) that make the opponent creatures unable to fight. Just be sure to get both equipments first or it might not be as consistent.

You could replace the 3 Scour the Archives with something else, they're useful for sure but not central. Pappy Jasper is a must though, it can keep the board while waiting for a Targoyle to enter, but it's also very good at duplicating Targoyles once they're in play since the Present AA is a 0 cost artifact.

It has some nice draw power and threshold coverage so you can draw a Targoyle fast enough, some Healing (Book Smarts), some removal ( Decree of Banishing, Solitary Exile).

The Skyspire Scholar with his equipment has a Diligence: +2/+2 to gargoyles that proves very helpful in encounters where troops attack is lowered, and it's even required against Angel of Dawn Elite. The only unbeatatble encounter would be Burly Botanist because the deck does a strong use of artifacts and constants, even though I already managed to beat the Elite version somehow.

My 2 latest additions to the deck made it even stronger : Coins of Kismet is great to duplicate Targoyles each turn, even if you don't have any Artifact card left in your hand. I also added my 2 Mimeobot from my collection so I could have extra copies of Targoyles or Jasper, but it ended shining since replicas are artifacts (more Targoyle trigger, yay) and not Lore (so you could have 2 or 3 Jasper in play at the same time, yay again !)

Not a fast deck for sure, but consistent and fun with the Pappy Jasper presents summoning random troops / artifacts , plus the Dragons / Avatars summoned through the Tomes of Lore, each game feels unique.

It took me some time to master the deck since it offers so many combinations, it's challenging at times but once you get the Targoyles in play (which is not so hard usually) and start permanently locking each and every opponent troop, it just gets easier.
