This is a perfect example of what siege mode could be - I hope support is expanded for stories like this through the game interface. It shouldn't only be about having the most ruthlessly broken PvE decks.
I'd like to give putting these decks up a go, it seems like a fun premise; the thought did give me a pining for Hex's deck editor to have some kind of copy/paste deck list functionality though, but that's treading into the wishful daydreaming of 'I have a deck, it's missing X Y Z cards, there's an in-editor prompt to go ahead and grab those cards off the AH' etc.
That being said it doesn't detract from the article, this is neat.
For this first lore siege, I'll be compensating anyone for their first loss at the base rate it costs to challenge the deck.
So, if you lost against this deck, please post here or leave a comment on the video with your in game name and I'll send you the 80 platinum you spent. This will be a once per person offer and only up to 80 platinum.
My plan is to use this first video to try to figure out where I should tune the decks to make them slightly challenging, but not overpowered. Id then keep the siege running for the default 2k gold amount as many times as I can so people have a themed siege they can always look to for fun!
Many lore topics could lend themselves to this format, so I could see updating the lore siege moving forward. If you have more suggestions for me, please let me know!
@SeriousBsnsGames I’d love to see the Lixil story played out in Keeps. From the breaking away from Volosolov to turning blue during her fight with Hogarth with her henchmen to being thrown into the portal by Voidstar. That’s a story worth telling in siege mode that I would love to play! ❤️
