Well - there is
Europa Universalis 4 and Crusader Kings 2
and i wonder if gwents PvE will be too linear or non-repeatable or with PvE endgame
are there any other card games with pve elements worth checking?
All kind of PvE games out there. I am currently enjoying Cook, Serve, Delicious 2(PC).
And no other cards have with good PvE elements is kind of why PvE players play Hex now and has been vocal about it. If there is another game out there with Hex level of PvE and is able to give out content faster, then I foresee many players would have moved on to that game.
It's surprising well polished for an Early Access game and delightfully addictive. It really nails the progression of character growth as you add more cards to your deck and earn more passive boosts as you go from encounter to encounter. The bosses are also pretty diverse challenges that prevent you from just defaulting to a particular strategy.
