If only. Back when they knew they weren't going to make set 10 they should have re-released every draft format starting with 111 all the way through the rest. I would have spent money on that. They could have gotten creative with how they used the cards/resources they did have to continue the game. Totally agree with kismet stuff too, they did a really good job with a few of the kismets, one of them not so much though. I know setting up flashbacks/kismets would have taken resources but at least …
What's a rough estimate of what Hex is worth? Art assets are probably the main source of value. The code functions but needs a lot of attention so that's marginal value i guess. I'm assuming they have a lot of debt.
Losing your collection/what you expected out of the game is way different than losing out on actual money that was promised. At least in my opinion it is.
Probably should have thought about selling before they spent two years eroding every ounce of good will they had while destroying the reputations of Hex and Cryptozoic.
Your money is gone. Collections will never have value again. They were too spineless to admit to us or themselves years ago when the game was in trouble, didn't do anything about it, and let it fester to the point we are at now. The game is getting the end it deserves. What an absolute waste.
I think I learned a lot in between Hex's infancy and eventual collapse. Hubris is a dangerous thing for a leader/organization to have and will screw up even the best ideas.
Quote from NeroJinous: “gems and champions still not fixed. Looks like no1 is actually working on hex anymore. I cant support hex just trying to milk cash. Either do things correctly or please just stop, so we can all move on. ” Are there actually people still giving Hex money? New PS4 players who don't know what's going on is the only thing I can think of.
